Gulf Shores Unit 602

We were so pleased with our accommodations at Gulf Shores. The condo has been beautifully updated and refurbished. The location is glorious for enjoying ocean views and we loved every minute of our stay. Definitely will book again!

Couldn't have been more pleased with the beach front location enjoying the views from the balcony, the sound of the waves and the unit itself. Well maintained with everything you need on hand including a large washer/dryer. The staff in the office are super helpful as well. Enjoyed it so much we booked another stay before we left!

We had a wonderful time as always! Recommend y'all to everyone. We will be back next year!

We loved our stay, loved the room too. Only issues that we didn't report, stove under the hood needs a light bulb. The balcony needs a light bulb. Everything else was perfect!!!

My family and I absolutely love this place and particularly this unit! We've stayed at Gulf Shores 4 times and in until 602 twice. Love the huge TV, comfy beds, bar in the kitchen is perfect for the kids, washer and dryer are HUGE and extremely appreciated, very nice kitchen with everything you could possibly need, sliding wall makes the bedroom somewhat cutoff so the adults can still watch TV or play cards, birds eye view of the ocean and an absolute heavenly part of the beach. Couldn't love this place more. Thanks again for the lovely stay. We will be back!

We actually moved to room 505. This room was having work done on the balcony. Closest place to the beach. A few miles from town so a lot less traffic on the beach as well. Room was great and it has everything you need but food and beverages. The glass wall leading to the balcony leads to amazing views. Spectacular sunrises coming up over the gulf. You don't need a golf cart so that's some cost savings there.

It was a great place to stay. The staff was very friendly and just so sweet. It's hard to find that these days. We had several small children in our group and they probably got more ice cream than they needed but the staff never turned them away.

The room was beautiful and had a great view. The beds were comfortable and the de-humidifiers were a first for us in all the years we have been coming to Port A. The grounds were clean and pool was nice as well.

Our family loves staying at Gulf Shores. From the breathtaking ocean views to a relaxing evening in the hottub, GS does not disappointment. The GS Team is always friendly and helpful. Unit 602 is beautifully decorated and has the most comfortable beds. Our kiddos absolute favorite "perk" was the new ice maker. We look forward to many years of GS family vacations!

Best part was the view! Even though we brought our own…..I've never seen so much beach equipment for us to use. That was thoughtful!Both frying pans need to be replaced. The bed in the “One” bedroom was very uncomfortable for us. Too soft! I would liked to have known that the partition/door was missing. I didn't notice it in the picture. I would NOT have picked that unit. (# 602) We paid our first payment in March. That door could not have been replaced in 4 months? Very deceptive! The place was very clean except for the toilet in the front bathroom. Apparently, a worker used it. That should have been checked before our arrival. After a call to the office, they cleaned it promptly! We will accept a discount on the room since it was not a two bedroom. It would have been helpful to leave instructions on how to get regular stations on the TV. The cable box kept turning off which caused the problem. Office personnel said a lot of people have problems with the TV/remotes. ????? The 84 inch tv was awesome…..especially for movies. My grandkids loved it!The pool area might need to be sprayed for the tiny, tiny gnat-like insects that were flying all over. Mosquito spray didn't work on them. We couldn't enjoy the pool because of that infestation. Don't know if it was Mother Nature or a problem that could have been solved. The office staff was very friendly and helpful but the missing door was the biggest problem. Thank you!

We had an awesome time!! the room was exceptional and really enjoyed having the wagon full of everything one would need at the beach and it really helped taking down all the additional gear needed. the view was awesome! The staff was also very pleasant and very helpful.. thanks for making the stay so pleasant.

Thoroughly enjoyed ocean view, doors open to the wind, and balcony seating with moon and sun rise directly offshore. Being up high provides communion with gulls, pelicans and the magnificent frigatebird, without compromising much on ocean view and sounds. One window shade needs repair. Recently updated kitchen and baths were a pleasure. Beds comfortable. Staff was responsive and pleasant. Boardwalk, beach and water were great during our stay, with City litter maintenance.

The dehumidifiers made the condo very comfortable. The condo was nicely furnished with good supply of dishes, cutlery, pots and pans. We did enjoy the ice maker for our adult beverages. We look forward to returning.

The condo is very clean. Furniture is very comfortable. We enjoy the ocean view and kitchen is fully stocked.

602 is a nice unit just like every other unit that we've stayed in. You can't find a bad unit at GS, just some that are better than others. Even though the living room furniture is new in 602, it was extremely uncomfortable and not something that would be acceptable for longer stays. It's as if the owners saw the furniture in an on-line advertisement and had it delivered without ever sitting in it. The tv is HUGE at 86". The kitchen was adequately stocked with the basics but not as well stocked as other units. The coffee pot was a combo traditional pot as well as pod style which was really nice. It has a washer/dryer which is a big plus. My first step upon arrival was rounding up all of the knick knacks taking up room on every counter space and piling the multitudes of decorative pillows (maybe 20 or so?) from living room furniture and beds into the guest room. Highly recommend that the owners consider streamlining unnecessary items and decorative clutter to make room for guests.
